Joanna was the first person we booked for the wedding. Which days she was available in September is what decided our wedding date as we HAD to have her! We loved that she had done lots of city weddings and were not your typical posed wedding pics. He pictures are fun, colourful and really show off the couples and their personalities. She made us both feel amazing at both our pre-wedding shoot and the wedding. She was like a guest at our wedding…but capturing every moment perfectly along the way

Joanna was actually recommended to me by a friend; I checked out her website and fell in love with her style. It was so fun and relaxed but with stunning photos! She was so great on the day as she was like having another friend around (I had her help my bridesmaids get me in to my dress which we were struggling to get over my head!!) My best friends parents actually paid for the photography and we were so happy when we saw the photos for the first time, we also got a cheeky few polaroids from her too and they all turned out so great.

Joanna was probably the best money we spent. I’d stumbled upon one of her photos randomly at Google. I fell for her aesthetics and combination of documentary and editorial style with natural colours and playful lights. She has an eye for detail, both when it comes to clothes and decorations, but also when it comes to moments and situations. She was full of ideas and knew just where to be and when. She was an absolute star throughout the whole day working 14 hours and coming straight from the airport. She completely blended in and at the same time she had a tremendous positive presence making everyone feel their best - even us, who are not particular fans of having our pictures taken. We are extremely grateful for the moments she has captured.

Joanna was absolutely key in our wedding day. She was professional, friendly and calm, even when things were fast paced and we were moving between multiple locations. She had a great eye for orchestrating the photos, was fantastic at keeping time, and directing us kindly when we had no clue how to pose.She made our day enjoyable and we now have photos of our day that we really enjoy. If I had one recommendation is two invest in a good photographer who knows the trade well, like Joanna.

When I saw Joanna's website, I could see she did a lot of city weddings, so wouldn’t be phased by the lack of stately home or rolling fields at our wedding! I loved her style straight away and my hunch that she would be great was confirmed when we first met up. She was so lovely and answered the million questions I had for her so brilliantly. She blended in so well with our guests on the day, a lot of our friends actually thought Jo was an old friend of ours!
